Many times, acne products are so harsh they will strip the skin of natural oils and cause sensitivity and irritation. Some individuals even find that they break out in a rash because of these products. There are, however, plenty you can create from the ordinary ingredients already found in your kitchen.
If you’re looking for a gentle ingredient to control the oil, try aloe vera. This herb, used as a facial wash, not only clears the pores, but it also takes off the dead skin cells too that cause the clogging of the pores. And it’s easy to use!
Simply gently rub the aloe vera on your face. Let it dry. You can leave it there as long as you like. While the herbal liquid is on your skin, it’s providing your skin with vital protection. Some recipes also suggest adding a small amount of honey to your aloe vera.
For the very best results, you need to use organic aloe vera. When you buy an aloe vera ointment from your local pharmacy, it probably contains perfumes, alcohol, or other chemicals that will only irritate your skin even more.
Citrus is another good option as a facial wash to help control acne. It also helps fade acne scars. This choice does much more than just clear oily skin. Simply rinsing your face with citrus juice – lemon juice is a great choice – will help to clean your pores and exfoliate your skin as well.
Thanks for all the great info.I think im gonna try an aloe vera wash tonight!
Thanks for stopping by Rita. I hope you have good results.
Tried over at least 50 different moisturizer’s. They all clog pores!!!! Not saying that your products are ineffective, what I am saying is that in my experience and seeing the experience of countless acne sufferers, that aloe vera is not so good for acnee.
